Home Inspector Field Technician

Top Notch Inspection Services, Inc. is becoming one of the fastest growing family-owned and operated home inspection companies in all of Hampton Roads, VA.

We are looking for Field Technicians with strong communication skills and to assist our Licensed Home Inspectors.

Home inspectors evaluate new or previously owned houses to determine the condition of the home’s systems and structure. They often work for prospective homebuyers who want to know about potential problems in advance. You would be assisting the inspector while he examines the home systems and features including roofing, exterior, attached garage or carport, foundation, interior, plumbing, electrical, and heating and cooling systems.

This is a physically and fast-paced work environment and will require the field technician to work both inside and outside of the home. You will be required to go to multiple locations.

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience: (at least one or more)

  • General Contracting: 1 year of experience
  • Residential Construction: 1 year of experience
  • Engineering: 1 year of experience
  • Architecture: 1 year of experience
  • Building Inspector: 1 year of experience

You must be able to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25,000.00 per year
